Prerana is currently working in eight districts in Nepal. Current program and services

of Prerana are: • Capacity building and organizational development activities with the support of Voluntary Service

Overseas International UK/Nepal to strengthen Prerana’s organizational and program management

since 2005 to date. • "Save the youth on face of HIV & AIDS, awareness and prevention program among youths in

Kathmandu Valley, funded by The Mercury Phoenix Trust-UK since July 2005 to date.

• Care and support program for PLHIV under comprehensive package for PLHAs, funded by DFID/UNDP

in Kathmandu, Rupandehi & Dhanusa Districts since October 2006 to date and in Kapilvastu district

supported by UNODC since Jan 2011.

• Care and support program for HIV infected and affected children in Rupandehi and Kapilvastu districts

funded by USAID Nepal through FHI-Nepal/ASHA Project since 2008 to Aug 2011.

• HIV Prevention, care and support for Female Prisoners in Central Jail of Kathmandu funded by

UNODC since 2008 to date.

• HIV Prevention treatment and care program for migrants, their families and community people in

Argakhanchi district of Nepal, funded by GFATM round’07 through Family Planning Association of

Nepal (FPAN) since 2009 to date
